Financial Aid Overview:

The Revolution FC Financial Aid Program is intended to provide opportunities for financially disadvantaged youth players to participate in ECRFC soccer programs.

Donations


Financial assistance is made possible in part by the generosity of Revolution FC members, local individuals, families, and businesses. Even if you cannot donate at this time, take some time to see if your employer has a local community support/sponsorship program where they may be able to make a donation to our financial aid fund. 


Your cancelled check will serve as your receipt. If you need something additional for tax purposes please let us know and we will provide you with a letter acknowledging your donation.

How to Apply

  • Download the App or visit Plametrics website

    On Mobile: Download the PlayMetrics App (if you haven't done so already) and open the app on your phone.


    On desktop: Open PlayMetrics on your computer.

  • Visit the Programs tab

    Navigate to the "Programs" tab located on the bottom menu. 


    Select the dropdown arrow next to "Programs" on the top left-hand side of the screen and click “Financial Aid”. 


    Click the Plus Sign button to begin the financial aid request process.

  • Complete form and request aid

    Select the Player(s) that need aid and fill out the financial aid request form.  


    Once you have completed the form click the “Submit Request” button.

  • Receive confirmation

    Upon submitting the financial aid request, you will see a pop-up message informing you that your request had been submitted.


    You will receive a notification and email from the club once your application has been processed and next steps.has

Criteria:


Parent(s) or legal guardian(s) of qualifying Revolution FC players may apply for financial aid.


Players must be registered for the current year and pay an initial (non-refundable) deposit prior to their application being considered.

Approximately $275.00* (dependent on level of play) initial deposit for competitive players OR, for recreational players a credit will be issued if the application is approved.


Application MUST be submitted with TWO types of proof of earnings. Proof of earnings include:

  1. Most recent signed copy of federal income tax filling (all pages) -and
  2. Copies of at least TWO current pay stubs for head of household and spouse unless a single parent family -OR
  3. Copies of TWO statements from unemployment or disability verification, etc.


Balance of fees must be paid by:

  • Competitive player fees: Online payment plans having automatic monthly deductions from a credit/debit card. Families unable to make credit/debit card payments MUST provide the initial deposit PLUS (4) prewritten checks to be deposited by the club on future dates as agreed to by ECRFC Board of Directors.
  • Recreational player fees: Balance after initial deposit and aid award must be paid in full prior to team assignment.


Player accounts must not have any past due balances from both previous years or from current year and must have COMPLETED their required volunteer hours if previous award recipient.


The ECRFC Board of Directors will consider all applications properly submitted.


*All awards are subject to Revolution FC Board approval and availability of funds. Financial Aid funding comes from a limited award fund and is granted based on need and family income. If there is an additional hardship (recent hospitalization, major illness, extreme loss of income, etc.) please indicate that in a letter written to the board explaining your need. Notification will be made to the applicant within 30 days of receipt of application WITH ALL supporting documents*


Financial aid awards are applied towards registration fees only. Uniform costs, tournament fees, or other expenses are not eligible.


VOLUNTEER HOURS REQUIRED – Financial Aid recipient families must provide ten (10) hours of volunteer service to the club, per player awarded. Volunteer hours must be verified by the Revolution FC Volunteer Coordinator or representative Board Member.

  • *Team functions such as fundraising, team parties, carrying the team benches, etc. DO NOT count.
  • *If at any time you become past due the award can be revoked. Timely payments made monthly are Club policy.


All financial aid requests will be held in the strictest of confidence by EC Revolution FC Board of Directors.
