Club Mission Statement

Who We Are

East County Revolution Football Club was born from the merger of Impact Soccer Club and Ajax East Bay Soccer Club. Our name came from:

East County represents the communities where our families and players come from: Brentwood, Oakley, Discovery Bay, Byron, Knightsen, Bethel Island, Pittsburg, and Antioch

Revolution represents:

  • Dramatic Change. Our two clubs have been rivals for the past 10 years, sometimes contentious rivals, competing over resources, families and players. Instead of competing for resources, Revolution FC will be combining resources to create a dramatically stronger soccer environment for players and families.
  • Tie to our local High Schools. The names of our four local high schools are connected to themes from the American Revolution: Liberty, Freedom, Heritage Patriots and Independence.
  • Tie to Professional Soccer. The New England Revolution are one of the inaugural teams of the US Professional league, Major League Soccer (MLS) and a highly respected organization.
  • Progress: In the spirit of historical advancement, i.e. Industrial Revolution, Scientific Revolution, Agricultural Revolution and Modern Revolution

Football Club (F.C.) represents the moniker many of our own US professional soccer clubs competing in Major League Soccer (MLS), and many European professional clubs use in their name. It represents what our players do by putting their foot to the ball.

Revolution Mission

Provide a positive and safe environment for the highest quality of soccer training with developmental pathways that elevates a player’s physical, mental, technical, social, and character development.

Revolution Vision

Foster the love of soccer through top level training and competition environments. One club where players, families, coaches, referees, and volunteers can participate in all facets of the game and further a lifelong connection to our Soccer community.
